NETWORK IMPACT

The combined impact of INEMI members — from technical expertise to leadership and influence within industry — is an invaluable benefit of membership.

INEMI member companies represent >$1 trillion in annual revenues within the global electronics manufacturing supply chain and a workforce of more than 2 million individuals. The leveraged strength of our global membership helps INEMI efficiently drive technology development and deployment across the global supply chain.

SHARING RESOURCES

With more than 460 individuals currently contributing to INEMI roadmaps and projects, the combined resources of our members helps individual companies

  • extend bandwidth
  • broaden expertise
  • leverage R&D investments

By collaborating with other companies to address common industry problems, your company can reduce the resources required (both staffing and financial) to resolve an issue. No individual company has to pay for the entire effort and, at the same time, each company benefits from the capabilities and expertise of other participants.

When we do a project on our own, it’s very difficult for us to have the people with the bandwidth to do the work, and there are some pieces of the work for which we don’t have the capability in-house. With the consortium project, you get the expertise of a huge group of people.

BUILDING COMMUNITIES

INEMI provides forums where members can meet online and face-to-face to connect, collaborate and learn. They exchange ideas, create consensus on industry-wide solutions and build valuable networks. Companies participate in INEMI to:

  • Collaborate with key customers and suppliers
  • Influence and help create industry-standard solutions that lead to competitive products
  • Understand the direction of industry and the competitive landscape
  • Understand and take advantage of new business opportunities
  • Help influence innovation and research funding

“INEMI membership is good for our people and good for our business.”
